The EAP660 HD is currently the best EAP access point with roaming capabilities, supporting the latest wireless protocol 802.11ax with MU-MIMO technology. Thanks to 4x4 MIMO on both radio bands, it effortlessly achieves speeds of up to 2402 + 1148 Mbps in a dual-band Wi-Fi network for multiple devices simultaneously. A Gigabit LAN port is no longer sufficient, so the AP is equipped with a LAN port that supports speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps. For good coverage, the AP features 8 built-in antennas, with 4 operating at 2.4 GHz and the antennas for 5 GHz providing a gain of 6 dBi. Due to these enhancements, the access point has a higher power consumption of 19W and can be powered either directly via a 12V DC power supply or through 802.3at PoE. A good news is the encryption of wireless traffic with WPA3.
