The third model in the FX lens series features the essential VCM (Vibration Compensation Module) for modern telephoto zoom lenses. The concept behind this product development was to achieve excellent sharpness.
The use of very low dispersion glass allows for improved correction of chromatic aberration, which often occurs in this type of lens. All of this results in photos with high contrast from the center to the corners of the image, as well as optimized color balance. With the VCM, sharp photos can be taken without the use of a tripod and without increasing the ISO.

Das Tokina ist sicherlich ein hochwertiges Modell, das auch offen bereits gute Leistungen zeigt. Zwar sind die Ecken deutlich schwächer aufgelöst als die Bildmitte aber abblenden bringt hier sehr gute Ergebnisse. Zudem arbeitet es sehr konstant über den gesamten Brennweitenbereich und ein Bildstabilisator ist ebenfalls eingebaut.
