Tilta Hydra Alien Mini Ultimate Kit

Inspired by the aesthetics of the Tilta Hydra Arm, this compact, shock-absorbing arm sets a new standard for lightweight in-car mounting systems. This miniature arm is compatible with smaller camera systems such as those from DJI, GoPro, Insta360 and all other systems weighing from 150g up to 600g, including smartphones with the Tilta Khronos Ecosystem.

The hydraulic damping system uses automotive grade oil to achieve race track level performance. The user can easily top up oil when needed. It is also quick and easy to adjust. The Hydra Alien Mini Ultimate Kit comes with an extension arm that is adjustable in both axes, allowing the user to better position the arm for different configurations and vehicle positions.

The entire kit is made from high performance aerospace grade aluminium alloy and is CNC machined from a single piece. It weighs only 982.5g. Also included is a handle that can be used when the arm is held in the hand. This configuration is particularly useful when walking or filming on uneven terrain. This kit has a battery-powered suction cup that monitors the pressure in real time and automatically increases the suction force in the event of leaks. The in-built 2000 mAh battery provides over 14 hours of continuous operation under normal conditions. The battery also supports an external 5V/1A USB-C power connection, which enables even longer uninterrupted recording via additional power sources. However, actual battery life may vary due to numerous factors.
