Product details
Optimal cooling for your CPU
The Intel 1851 Mycro Direct-Die Pro RGB V1 features a jet system on the cooler's surface, and the width of the cooling channel slots has been optimized. The cooler's cold plate is made of nickel-plated copper and is mounted directly onto the CPU chip. For this, the Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) of the motherboard is removed, and the processor must be delidded. The nickel plating of the cooler plate creates a barrier layer, preventing gallium-based liquid metal from diffusing into the copper, and multiple applications of liquid metal are usually unnecessary.
Appealing design with RGB lighting
Between the cold plate and the anodized aluminum cover is acrylic glass, which undergoes a tempering process after milling to relieve internal stresses. This ensures that no stress cracks form in the acrylic glass even after prolonged use, which can occur with hardened acrylic glass. Under the aluminum cover are RGB LEDs that are controlled via a 3-pin ARGB header (+5V/DATA/GND) through the motherboard. The LEDs illuminate the acrylic glass under the cover and the G1/4-inch connections in the cover.
