The line

When the story is over, there’s no need to process it. The path I choose is defined by certain criteria: privacy, inconspicuousness, and accident safety. An inconspicuous path is one that others use often enough so that it doesn’t seem suspicious. There should be ruins and shelters on both sides from time to time. One cannot completely escape surveillance by drones and video cameras, but the analysis by algorithms is less fruitful when one is recorded less frequently. Data avoidance is always beneficial. Looking like many others is good: I wear a coat when coats are worn, I wear a jacket when jackets are worn. I wear a hat when hats are worn. I choose the company of old men because I am an old man. I know that they ultimately catch everyone. However, they don’t bother trying to imprison us because we are already locked out. The A-zone is secured with high walls, surveillance cameras, and barbed wire. The A-residents only move by helicopter. We do not know exactly what they do and want.
