The Stereo M offers the sound power of full-size floorstanding speakers in small and medium-sized rooms. This is achieved thanks to the 3-way design, the coaxial driver and the powerful power amplifier. After 2.5 years of research, Teufel has developed an exceptional driver with the coaxial flat cone chassis. Thanks to SCA technology (Synchronised Coaxial Acoustics), it acts as an almost point source of sound, which ensures only very small differences in delay time between the midrange and tweeter. The tweeter and midrange driver are fused into a single component. Almost all radiated frequencies reach the listener's ear at the same time, resulting in a particularly credible, natural reproduction. As a result, sound events (e.g. voices) are perceived as one sound source or point source, just as in reality, and can therefore be located precisely. Overall, the spatial imaging appears more realistic than with a separate tweeter. The SCA coaxial chassis is also used in the Definion 3 and has already won several awards.
