Product details
The TetherBlock prevents unwanted disconnection of the cable connection through strain relief, thereby protecting the data interface from damage. Camera data ports are sensitive and expensive to repair. When shooting tethered in the studio or on location, it can quickly happen that someone trips over the cable or gets caught up in the heat of the moment. The result is the cable being pulled out and the camera's cable connection being damaged. Therefore, the TetherBlock is the safe solution for all photographers who shoot tethered, whether with a tripod or handheld.
The TetherBlock is designed to prevent accidental removal of a cable from your camera's data ports by routing a USB, FireWire, or HDMI cable through one of the three channels of the TetherBlock. A 1/4"-20 slot screw secures the plate to the camera and can be tightened with a screwdriver or a coin. The bottom of the TetherBlock features a 1/4" and a 3/8" thread, allowing it to be mounted directly onto a tripod plate or tripod head.
Features:
- Secure cable connection to the camera
- Protects expensive camera ports from damage
- Lightweight and durable
- Various cable channels for thick, medium, and thin cables
- Rubber anti-slip pads to prevent slipping on the camera
- 1/4" and 3/8" internal threads for attaching a tripod plate or other accessories
