The tachograph cable is a special cable designed for the easy connection of tachographs. It features two sockets for plug-and-play connection - K-LINE (D-connector) and TachoCAN (C-connector) as well as a pre-prepared pair of twisted wires for an additional CAN connection.

There are two versions of the tachograph cable:

• Complete tachograph cable with all 20 wires for a variety of applications, depending on customer needs.

• Simplified tachograph cable with only the wires needed for Remote Data Download (RDD) and the FMS solution - VCC(+), GND(-), DIN1, CAN1 Low and High, CAN2 Low and High, and K-LINE. There is no need to hide or cut additional cables.

The tachograph cable allows you easy access to the following data:

• Downloading tachograph files remotely.

• Retrieving CAN data from heavy vehicles via the FMS J1939 standard.

• Receiving live vehicle data from the tachograph via K-LINE.

The cable can be used with the devices FMB640, FMC640, FMM640, FM6300, and FMB630.
