The TNC series includes commonly used coaxial connectors that operate up to a frequency of 11 GHz. They have dimensions similar to the BNC series but feature a screw lock. Versions with 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm impedance are available. Connector variants are offered for flexible, semi-flex, and semi-rigid cables. The TNC series PCB connectors are available as solder or press-fit types. Depending on the version, cables can be connected via crimping, clamping, or soldering. TNC connectors are vibration-resistant and are used in signal, data, and video transmission. TNC connectors are cost-effective alternatives for coaxial connections at high frequencies. These connectors meet the ingress protection requirements between plug and socket in the mated condition according to IP 68.
