FO pigtails with connectors assembled on one end are mainly used for the distribution of multifiber cables through splicing technology. For optimized splice preparation, we use loose-buffered fibers that allow stripping up to 1 m in one step. Fiber pigtails are assembled with connectors without strain relief, as patch panels and splice boxes provide sufficient environmental protection.
