The Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II is a portable sampler for music production and live performances with 128 MB of sample memory. This compact device combines intuitive controls with professional sampling capabilities that enable precise recording, editing and sequencing of audio. The sampler features a built-in microphone for field recording, a line input for external audio sources and a comprehensive sequencer with pattern-based programming. With its robust aluminium construction measuring approximately 15 cm wide, 8 cm high and 3 cm deep, the EP-133 K.O. II offers reliable performance in a variety of environments. The device supports sample editing functions such as trimming, time-stretching and pitch-shifting, as well as multiple filter types and effects processing. Connectivity options include MIDI in/out for integration with other music electronics, USB-C for data transfer and power, and a 3.5mm headphone output. The sampler is powered by rechargeable batteries that provide up to 10 hours of continuous operation and is easy to transport with a weight of approx. 450 g. Designed for studio and live use, the EP-133 K.O. II features pressure-sensitive pads, a dedicated sample start/end knob and visual feedback via the integrated display. The device comes with pre-installed sounds and supports customised sample libraries. As a successor to previous Teenage Engineering sampling devices, this device remains true to the brand's minimalist design while offering advanced functions for electronic music production.
