TechniSat TechniRouter 9/4x16

With the TECHNIROUTER 9/4x16, you can build a single-cable distribution system that supplies up to 64 participants with complete television programs from up to 4 satellites (e.g., Astra 19.2°E, Eutelsat 13°E, Astra 23.5°E, and Astra 28.2°E) as well as terrestrial signals over a single cable. Existing cable structures in residential buildings can be utilized without the need for new cabling. If more than 64 participant connections are needed, additional TECHNIROUTER 9/4x16 units can be cascaded at the trunk line outputs.

The system uses digital Satellite Channel Router (SCR) technology according to EN50494/EN50607. This allows for the supply of receiving devices without program restrictions. Multi-tuner devices (PVR) can also be fully operated without the need for new antenna cabling. The TECHNIROUTER 9/4x16 compensates for atmospheric attenuation losses that can lead to fluctuations in the received satellite signal through its built-in AGC (Automatic Gain Control).

What type of LNB is required?
By using 4 Wideband LNBs, 4 orbital positions can be distributed without restrictions. With 3 Wideband LNBs, 3 orbital positions can be distributed. With 2 Wideband LNBs, 2 orbital positions can be distributed. Use Wideband LNBs with an LOF of 10.41 GHz.

By using two Quattro LNBs, two orbital positions can be distributed without restrictions. Quattro switch LNBs are not suitable.

How is the power supply provided?
To power the router, a plug-in power supply (12V) must be connected to it.
