The Emergency Stop Pull Switches XY2CE EX ATEX from Telemecanique are designed to reduce the risk of injury to personnel and damage to machines or production products. They can be activated by a person with a single movement when a normal emergency stop function is not available, and they also trigger if the activation wire breaks. Features and Benefits: The switches have forced opening contacts, with the activation of the switch occurring through forced operation. The switch locks in the activated position (Normally Open safety contacts open). The Normally Closed contact is solely for signaling. Includes a reset button that allows the safety contacts to be closed again. Restarting the machine must only be done by manually operating a control device within the machine's start circuit, which is located some distance from the activation wire switch. The recommended distance between cable holders is 15 m.
