The TCS 811-003-5070 is an electronic knob cylinder designed for use in PZ locks. It meets the requirements of DIN 18252 and DIN EN 1303 and is suitable for use on fire doors. With an IP55 protection rating, it is also suitable for applications in protected outdoor areas. The cylinder requires no mounting holes and can be easily installed by snapping in the knob module. Identification is done via a passive transponder in the key, which operates without a power supply. The knob cylinder allows for the management of up to 96 keys and provides both visual and acoustic user guidance. Battery replacement can be performed while the device is installed, making handling easier. The cylinder is made of nickel-plated brass and offers high resistance to environmental influences.
