A programmable robot equipped with a "BBC micro:bit" board. This educational kit is the perfect introduction to the world of STEM subjects, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The caterpillar robot kit connects these areas, from assembly and operation to programming the control system.

The robot with the microcomputer learning board "BBC micro:bit" features an ultrasonic sensor and dual motor control. When the ultrasonic sensor detects an obstacle, the "BBC micro:bit" unit receives this information and controls the two motors in the dual gearbox accordingly. A pre-installed basic driving program runs automatically, allowing the robot to avoid obstacles. The two chain drives are controlled separately.

A crank-shaped sprocket, which is in contact with the chain, moves the left and right arms up and down during movement, creating a typical robot behavior. The upper part of the robot consists of a light gray transparent body part, allowing you to see the LEDs of the "BBC micro:bit" unit clearly. The LEDs indicate which program has been selected before starting.

The crawler chassis and the body cover are made of durable plastic. With the illustrated and multilingual instructions, the microcomputer robot can be easily assembled and put into operation. The robot's brain, the "BBC micro:bit" unit, can be programmed according to your own ideas using the free software "MakeCode.".
