Swingness

When we combine Swissness and swing, something new emerges: "Swingness." The best Swiss anthems from Tanja Dankner's musical journey over her 27-year career are interpreted in new, unprecedented swing versions of the highest quality. Among the selected songs are hits like "Hemmige" by Mani Matter, "Swiss Lady" by Pepe Lienhard, "079" by Lo & Leduc, the ESC winning song of 1988 "Ne partez pas sans moi" by Céline Dion (vocals)/Nella Martinetti (lyrics), "Kiosk" by Rumpelstilz, and many more. The album is accompanied and produced by Pepe Lienhard. The musical quality of this project is impressively affirmed by the participation of Pepe Lienhard's Big Band and outstanding musicians such as Lisa Stoll on the alphorn, Nicolas Senn on the hammered dulcimer, as well as KUNZ and Michael von der Heide as duet partners.
