With this SATA III controller featuring 10 ports (6Gbit/s), you can add ten SATA 6Gbit/s hard drives (HDDs) or solid-state drives (SSDs) to your computer system or server via an available PCIe x2 card slot. The card supports SATA III and PCI-Express 2.0 specifications. The ASM1062 provides 10 ports with 6Gbit/s SATA performance. Equipped with the ASM1062 controller, this SATA card allows the connection of ten high-performance SATA 6Gbit/s drives with a combined total throughput of up to 8Gbit/s. The SATA drives are connected via ten individual SATA ports on the card (SATA cables sold separately). Extensive compatibility: The controller card is fully supported by all major operating system platforms, including Windows (7, 8, 10, 11), macOS (10.10 and higher), and Linux (2.6.32 and higher). The card also supports port multipliers.
