Transform two standard SATA motherboard connections into two external eSATA ports.

The StarTech.com eSATA-SATA adapter provides additional data support for existing serial ATA controllers with two extra eSATA ports for connecting external SATA devices.

The adapter plate can be installed on the back of the computer, allowing for a direct connection between eSATA and SATA devices. This enables you to connect your SATA device (such as an external hard drive) to the eSATA port, which extends the motherboard's SATA data connector.

The eSATA-SATA adapter is designed to take advantage of the enhanced data security offered by external hard drives or RAID devices with eSATA connections. It supports data transfer rates of up to 6 Gbps and comes with a lifetime warranty from StarTech.com.
