All desktop models are optionally available with integrated Wi-Fi. All models are equipped for high-performance hardware acceleration with a high-speed CPU and a dedicated Xstream Flow processor. The Xstream architecture of the Sophos Firewall is designed for an extremely high level of transparency, protection, and performance, enabling administrators to tackle the greatest challenges of modern networks with ease. Excellent price-performance ratio thanks to dual-processor architecture. Each model is optionally available with integrated Wi-Fi for all-in-one connectivity. An expansion slot on all XGS-116/126/136 models enhances compatibility for 3G/4G when used with our optional module. On w-models, an optional second Wi-Fi transmitter module can be added via an expansion slot. Power-over-Ethernet ports are integrated into the XGS 116, XGS 126, and XGS 136 models (2.5 GE on 136). An optional second power supply available for all XGS-1xx models provides additional redundancy, which is not a given in this form factor. The SFP port on all models can be used for FTTH/FTTP or with the optional VDSL modem.
