With the wireless remote control RMT-P1BT, various camera functions can be reliably and precisely controlled from a distance. Compatible models include the Alpha series ILCE-6400, ILCE-6400L, ILCE-6400M, ILCE-7M3, ILCE-7M3K, ILCE-7RM3, and ILCE-9. The remote control features a high response speed with a minimal shutter release delay of just 0.05 seconds. An LED on the remote indicates the camera's operational status through blinking or a steady light. To ensure the remote can be used in various environmental and weather conditions, it is protected against dust and moisture, providing reliable performance in temperatures ranging from -10 °C to 50 °C.

For maximum control over camera functions, the wireless remote control RMT-P1BT includes a focus button for individual autofocus control, a customizable C1 remote button that can be assigned through the camera menu according to the user's preference, and a start/stop button for video recording. The controls for motorized zoom or digital zoom are ideal for video recording via the remote. During long exposures, the shutter can be opened and closed by pressing the main button on the remote, eliminating the need to hold the button down for the entire exposure time.
