Product details
The 90 mm prime lens is the ideal choice for macro photography and portraits. Like top-tier macro lenses, the 90 mm prime lens prioritizes sharpness and clarity above all else. A particularly soft bokeh and absolute control over unwanted spherical aberration characterize Sony's G lens. The premium lens is also equipped with an optical image stabilizer, allowing for 1:1 macro shots without a tripod.
Two powerful and, above all, quiet Direct Drive SSM motors move two independent focus groups inside the lens. This ensures extremely precise autofocus that hits its target in any situation. The special feature: when focusing, only lens groups move within the lens. Nothing changes on the outside. This is especially practical for macro shots, as the lens often works just a few centimeters away from the subject. To make adjustments to the lens, there is a button on the edge that locks the focus point. Additionally, it is easy to switch from manual focus to autofocus with a simple movement. To prevent moisture or dirt from entering the lens during outdoor shooting with small animals or flower blossoms, it is designed to resist dust and raindrops effectively.
