Insgesamt kann das Objektiv durchaus überzeugen und ist dabei auch sehr gut ausgestattet. Spritzwasserschutz, ein flotter AF sowie eingebauter Bildstabilisator sind hier mit an Bord. Die Auflösung ist bis auf ein paar kleine Schwächen sehr hoch sowie konstant. Nur die Ränder links sowie rechts könnten bei der mittleren Brennweite etwas schärfer sein, wobei auch Vignettierung ein Problem offen ist...
Die Gesamtleistungen des Modells reichen für eine Empfehlung aus denn wenn auch die Ergebnisse im mittleren Bereich alles andere als perfekt ausfallen, kann das Objektiv sowohl offen als auch abgeblendet punkten. Zudem verfügt das Gerät sowohl über einen eingebauten Bildstabilisator als auch AF.
