A new optical design enables high resolution from the center of the image to the edges and beautiful bokeh effects. It is compact, lightweight, and versatile. Two AA and two aspherical elements correct aberrations for high resolution from the center to the edges. Three ED glass elements minimize chromatic aberration. Sony's AR Nano Coating provides high resistance to ghosting and flare for sharp contrast. Precise control of spherical aberrations and a circular aperture with nine blades create smooth bokeh.
