Product details

Suitable for DVB-C reception, for cable network regions which encrypt in Conax, especially regional cable network operators in Switzerland. Also suitable for SAT reception - in Scandinavia Conax is the general coding standard, especially at the orbital position 1 degree west. Furthermore, the Smit Conax modules can be decoded from the pay-TV packages "television for me" and "US Entertain" via the Eurobird 9A satellite at the 9 degrees East position using this module. The authorization to use the decryption method provided (by the respective CI module) is verified by means of a smart card (authentication). A smartcard is therefore essential for the final decryption of the data sent.
