Product details
The SmallRig 5308 Magic Arm Support is a versatile camera accessory for photographers and videographers that offers flexible mounting options. This seven-piece articulating arm provides exceptional positioning options with a maximum load capacity of 1.5kg and is suitable for supporting various camera accessories such as monitors, lights, microphones and small cameras. Made from durable aluminium alloy with a black anodised finish, the arm features 1/4" 20 threaded mounts at both ends for universal compatibility with standard camera equipment. Each of the seven joints can be locked independently with the included 3mm Allen key, allowing for precise positioning and stable hold once attached. The arm extends to approximately 30 cm when fully extended and reduces to approximately 15 cm for compact storage and transport. Weighing approximately 250g, this accessory adds minimal bulk to your camera setup while providing substantial functionality. The Magic Arm Support is particularly useful for creating customised camera rigs, mounting equipment in tight spaces or achieving unique camera angles that traditional mounts do not allow. Its modular design allows integration with other SmallRig components and third-party accessories via standard mounting threads. The product reliably holds its position after tightening, without creeping or sagging under recommended loads. For optimum performance, all joints should be securely tightened before mounting valuable equipment. This accessory provides a practical solution for content creators, studio photographers and field videographers who require customisable mounting options without compromising stability or precision.
