Product details
The 35 mm and 50 mm f/1.8 1.33 anamorphic lens has permanently changed the segment for content producers and filmmakers. Previously, anamorphic lenses were mainly used for big movies and larger advertising campaigns. Sirui brand anamorphic lenses enable filmmakers to achieve high-quality results even with a limited budget. Sirui is now successfully launching another lens, the 24 mm f/2.8 1.33 x.
This lens expands the field of view to 1.33 times and captures more details on the sensor, resulting in a wide cinematographic image with an HD aspect ratio of 2.4:1. It creates a popular cinematography style that immerses the audience in the scene. The lens also produces an impressive blue color and a poetic oval bokeh effect. Its optical construction consists of 13 elements in 10 groups, coated with nanoparticles, and the glass is manufactured in renowned German Schott glassworks. Additionally, the design minimizes distortion and the phenomenon of "breathing" (change of focal length during focusing), ensuring razor-sharp film quality.
When combined with an 18-element lens, a diegetic oval bokeh effect is created, adding an extra dimension to the recorded images. Due to the unique way light is distributed in an anamorphic lens, it produces blue light on a horizontal plane while reducing stray light and enhancing background effects. This compact and sturdy lens is made of aerospace aluminum alloy, measuring 126 mm in length and weighing 780 g (with Sony E-mount). The focus ring operates smoothly, allowing for a rotation range of 189.6 degrees.
