With the offered PCIe card SST-ECM28 from Silverstone, you can operate an M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD via a PCI Express slot on the motherboard. It supports SSDs in the common formats of 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230.
The adapter is also very flexible with its support for PCIe 1.0/1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0. The M-Key connector (no B-Key) also supports M.2 drives with SATA data protocol. Additionally, the SST-ECM27 provides two SATA 6 ports.
