Alex Prager (born 1979) is a Californian and one of the most innovative and original photographers and filmmakers of the younger generation. With professional actors, friends or family members, she stages scenarios in hyper-realistic settings that seem familiar, but at the same time are alienating, often eerie and disturbing.
