Sigma R1 Blue Comfortex+ Chest Strap with Bluetooth, including a textile chest strap for EKG-accurate heart rate measurement for sports apps. Compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad mini (as of January 2013). It transmits the following current values to devices with Bluetooth SMART READY technology: EKG-accurate heart rate, RR intervals in milliseconds for determining heart rate variability, battery status.
Please note: The requirement for communication with Bluetooth SMART devices is the Bluetooth SMART READY logo and/or indication of a Bluetooth 4.0 component. Additionally, the operating system must support Bluetooth SMART READY technology. Current Apple iOS, Mac OS, Windows 8, and Windows Phone 8 support Bluetooth 4.0 technology. Current Android versions do not. Due to the ongoing development of operating systems, technical changes are reserved.
