They are essential for processing analog values with electronic controls. Especially under harsh industrial conditions, it is often necessary to transmit analog signals over long distances. Due to the various power supplies, electrical isolation is required. The resistance of the wiring causes potential differences and losses that must be avoided. All terminals of the 3RS70 signal converters are safe up to a voltage of 30 V dc and are protected against pole reversal. Short-circuit protection is a particularly important feature for the outputs.
