The Industrial Ethernet SOFTNET-S7 Upgrade from Siemens is a specialized software solution designed for versions V6.0, V6.1, and V6.2, as well as the 2005 edition. This software enables efficient communication between S7 and S5 systems, as well as the integration of OPC and PG/OP communication. The upgrade supports up to 64 connections and is provided as a single license for one installation. The runtime software is delivered along with an electronic manual on CD-ROM, while the license key is provided on a USB stick. The software is available in two languages (German and English) and is suitable for use with Siemens CP 1512, CP 1612, and CP 7515 communication processors. This solution is particularly well-suited for industrial applications and offers a reliable foundation for network communication in automated environments.
