The SCALANCE XM408-8C from Siemens is a powerful, managed modular rack switch designed for demanding network environments. With a combination of 8 RJ45 ports and 8 SFP ports, this switch offers high flexibility and a transmission rate of up to 1000 Mbit/s. The ability to expand the number of ports to up to 24, both electrically and optically, makes it an ideal solution for growing network requirements. The switch supports PROFINET IO and provides redundancy features as well as various office features such as RSTP, VLAN, and IGMP. It can be easily mounted on a DIN rail or S7 profile rail, facilitating integration into existing systems.
