Shiverpeaks® Basic S Network Tester RJ45

The cable tester is an ideal device for testing and locating network and communication cabling. The tester supports the following testing functions: it is used to test and locate already installed network or communication cables. The device comes with a matching zippered synthetic leather case. A battery is required for operation (not included).

The tester allows for continuity testing of network or communication cables and locating unconnected individual wires. Configuration is done through a 1-to-1 wiring check. The cable tester consists of two modular units: the cable tester and a receiving unit. Thanks to its modular design, the cable tester can be used for local loop-back cable tests as well as for testing already installed cables using the receiving unit.

Since this cable tester is equipped with shielded connectors, it can also check cable shielding (FTP, S/FTP). Additionally, this cable tester features an auto-scan and a manual test mode. It checks RJ45 cables according to the EIA/TIA 568 A/B standard and tests CAT 5/6 network and ISDN connections. The connection test is indicated via LED for 8 individual wires and shielding. It operates with a 9V block battery (not included).
