Sharkoon REX8 Value

The REX8 is an ATX case that provides four native external drive bays for 5.25" drives. Additionally, there are four more bays equipped with multifunctional plastic mounting frames that can accommodate both 3.5" and 2.5" devices, making them suitable for nearly all hard drives, SSDs, card readers, etc. These frames also allow for the installation of a 120mm fan, which can help cool a hard drive.

Easily accessible on the upper part of the front panel and the top of the case are the USB and audio interfaces, as well as the power button.

The case features a complete interior coating and offers quick-release mechanisms for the fast installation of drives and mounting frames. The component cables can be routed neatly through the cable management system without obstructing airflow inside the case.

The power supply is installed at the bottom of the case.

The Value model includes an acrylic side window and features two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports. The USB 3.0 ports are connected internally to the motherboard via a 19-pin connector. This setup is complemented by two pre-installed 120mm LED fans at the front and rear of the case, with the front fan mount designed for flexible positioning at various locations in the front of the case. This allows it to be placed where the hottest components are located.

The Value variant is available in black and white with black mesh grills. In both cases, the fans are illuminated in blue.
