Shanling EC Zero T

The Shanling EC Zero T is a high-end portable CD player that defines a class of audiophile mobile devices. It is equipped with a proprietary R2R DAC based on 24-bit technology that delivers exceptionally authentic and musical sound reproduction. The integrated switch between oversampling and non-oversampling enables individual sound customisation. In addition, there is a dual output stage with two JAN6418 tubes that can be switched between a powerful, dynamic transistor mode and a warm, flowing tube sound. This achieves a sonic flexibility that appeals to both analytical and emotional listeners. For CD playback, Shanling uses a specially developed active magnetic mechanism that stabilises the CD and minimises mechanical vibrations - an important prerequisite for uninterrupted playback. The anti-shake system also ensures continuous playback, even when you are moving. The headphone outputs in 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced format deliver up to 1,220 mW of power and are therefore sufficient for high-impedance, high-end headphones. It also has line-out connections, coaxial and optical digital outputs and a USB DAC function that supports PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD512. Wireless output devices can also be operated at the highest quality level via Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX Adaptive. A CNC-machined aluminium housing with a tempered glass cover gives the device a high-quality look that combines robustness and aesthetics. The integrated 5500 mAh battery provides up to eight hours of standalone playback, while the device can be connected via USB-C to switch to a more powerful external operating mode. With a weight of just 669 g and its compact format, the EC Zero T offers perfect sound on the go.
