The AX 131 are precision thermocouple temperature sensors of type K. The insertion and immersion sensors are designed for use in gases, liquids, and soft materials. The surface sensor variants are optimized for contact measurement on hard surfaces. The sensor tube is made of stainless steel that is resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, suitable for continuous contact with food. The cable is optionally equipped with standardized miniature flat connectors or loose ends. The sensors are based on class 1 thermoelectric material, the highest precision class for thermocouples. Caution! However, surface probes may exhibit greater deviations in practice than indicated in this class, due to the temperature gradient at the contact point.
