Schneider Electric Safety Module for PLC TM2xx, 2 FUNCTIONS

The Modicon TM3 safety module from Schneider Electric is a specialized extension for the Modicon M221, M241, M251, and M262 PLCs. It provides a reliable solution for functional safety in industrial automation applications. With two digital safety inputs and three parallel digital safety outputs, the module allows for the connection of emergency stop switches and safety light curtains. It meets high safety standards, including PLd / Category 3 according to EN/ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL2 according to EN/IEC 62061. The management of safety-related functions is carried out independently of the rest of the system, enhancing integrity and reliability. The configuration of the module can be easily done via the EcoStruxure Machine Expert software or a standalone configurator. The module is designed for operation in a temperature range of -10°C to +55°C and can be mounted on a DIN rail or directly onto a control panel.
