Modicon M241 – Logic Controller. The Modicon M241 logic controller is designed for controlling simple motion control machines and offers class-leading communication with five integrated ports. It features state-of-the-art technical specifications and embedded CANopen for fieldbus architectures with up to 63 devices, while reducing installation time and costs. Gain unlimited access to your machine via Ethernet – anywhere and anytime – and facilitate maintenance with any mobile device through visualization pages developed directly in SoMachine and stored on the PLC web server.

The M241 logic controller has five ports: Ethernet, CANopen, two serial lines, and a USB port for programming. The CPU offers high processing power and cartridge expansions. It supports web and FTP servers, pulse output, high-speed counters, and an SD card. Safety functions and programming are handled with the SoMachineBasic software. All programming, visualization, and commissioning are done through a single intuitive tool. Additional modules for this controller include Tesys SoLink motor starters, a wide range of analog and digital modules, as well as Ethernet and Profibus.
