This shielding kit is part of the Modicon X80 series, a range of common input/output options for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This shielding kit is designed to protect against electrostatic discharge when connecting the shielding to cable sets. It is mounted under the rack with the I/O modules. It consists of a metal rail that accommodates the terminal rings and the grounding clamp, as well as two bases that are mounted on the rack.
