Do spacers need to be installed between the iCT series contactors?
When multiple contactors are mounted on a DIN rail, spacers should be used after every second contactor. The reason for this is that when multiple contactors are placed side by side, there can be a significant heat buildup, causing the devices to exceed their operating temperature. The coils themselves are designed to be 100% operational, allowing them to be powered on 24 hours a day, and the heat must be dissipated, hence a spacer is required.
