Schabus Level controller Filling, emptying 30

The water detector SHT 5002 is a device for level control (2-point controller). It defines an upper and a lower level through two water sensors or float switches and can be used for the automatic filling or emptying of a container. A potential-free relay contact is used to control the pump (Relay K1 Level: max. 5 A / 230 V, Relay K2 Overflow: max. 5 A / 230 V).

Overflow notification: Additionally, the water detector SHT 5002 offers another sensor input for an overflow notification (e.g., in case of pump failure) with a potential-free relay contact. This allows for the control of a signaling device, a magnetic shut-off valve, a telephone dialer, or even a bus system.

Memory function for overflow notification: By using wire jumpers, it is possible to store the overflow notification and acknowledge it by pressing a button. In the default setting, the overflow notification is automatically cleared after the water level drops below a certain point.

Applications: Level control for cisterns or for pump control (emptying or filling containers).
