When it comes to capturing architectural or impressive landscape shots, a wide angle is often not wide enough. The compactly built 14 mm ultra-wide-angle lens helps photographers achieve unique images when "more" needs to be seen in the frame. With a maximum aperture of f/2.8, it allows for stunning pictures even in low light conditions. The two aspherical lenses, combined with Extra Low Dispersion technology, reduce chromatic aberrations. Naturally, the lenses are multi-coated. As is typical with Samyang, this meticulously produced optic is manually focused. The lens hood is permanently attached to prevent unwanted reflections and light intrusion. A minimum focusing distance of just 28 cm allows for sharp, high-contrast images even from close range. In addition to the immense width this ultra-wide-angle lens offers, it also impresses with remarkable depth of field.
