Sachtler System Ace XL Video head Ace XL: The latest development from Sachtler. The ACE XL series is ideally suited for cinestyle cameras such as the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro, Canon EOS C200 or C300MKII, Sony PXW-FS7 or PXW-FS5 series and the Panasonic EVA1. The tripod systems Ace XL MS AL (middle spider) and Ace XL GS AL (bond spider) have been developed for camera bodies up to 8kg. They offer 8-stage weight compensation and can be used universally in their class with the extremely light and torsion-resistant aluminium tripods. The Ace XL models have an illuminated spirit level for particularly comfortable working. The lightest of these is the Sachtler Ace XL MS AL with 4.5 kilograms. On flat surfaces, the Ace XL GS AL optimises the result.
