The Rycote HC-35 is a long shotgun microphone with a hypercardioid pattern, designed for specific applications such as sports broadcasts and location recordings. The HC-35 produces a highly directional pickup pattern with a longer interference tube than its siblings, the HC-15 and HC-22, providing better off-axis rejection.
