This coupling features clamp mounting and is made of aluminum. It is suitable for higher speeds, greater misalignment, and requires less lubrication compared to other couplings. Each coupling is constructed as a single piece, eliminating mechanical joints and potential sources of error. There are two mounting types available: typical applications include encoders, stepper motors, robotics, instrumentation, servo systems, pumps, valves, and fans. The set screw version is securely fastened with one set screw per shaft, spaced 120° apart. The version with clamp fastening uses one hexagon socket screw per shaft. These backlash-free couplings are designed for constant speeds and high torques, featuring a torsionally stiff one-piece design that is not sensitive to temperature. They are suitable for both high and low speeds and can accommodate the reversal of direction of rotation without requiring lubrication. Up to 3° of axial misalignment is permissible.
