The maximum temperature of the grouting gasket is limited to 180°C. This is a mineral insulated probe, type K. It features very robust and flexible mineral insulated thermocouples suitable for high pressure and low pressure applications, capable of withstanding strong vibrations. The insulated (not grounded) tip is made of stainless steel with a 310 quality connection via a 1 m PTFE insulated cable. The maximum peak temperature is 1100°C with a 1 meter long single cable.
