This type K exposed contact thermocouple features a PFA jacket for fast response and a welded exposed junction. It consists of a pair of PFA Teflon® insulated, 2-wire, flat conductors. The conductors are PTFE insulated with a flat run and a PFA jacket, providing good mechanical strength and flexibility, as well as resistance to oils, acids, and other harmful liquids. The thermocouple is available in sizes of 1/0.3 mm or 1/0.5 mm and in lengths of 1, 2, 5, or 10 m. It is terminated with a miniature flat pin connector and has a tolerance class 1 for optimum accuracy. The insulation is rated for temperatures from -75°C to 260°C, with color coding for the cores and sheath according to IEC-584-3.
