This sheathed thermocouple type N features a Nicrosil sheath (Ni/Cr/Si) for superior performance and reliability compared to type K. It offers excellent protection in corrosive atmospheres and is particularly robust and flexible. This thermocouple is suitable for applications involving high pressure, high vacuum, or strong vibration. The maximum thermocouple temperature is 1300°C, and it includes a simple potting compound seal with a maximum temperature of 200°C. The cable is PFA insulated and measures 2 meters in length.
