The maximum temperature of the potting gasket is limited to 180°C. This is a Type J, mineral insulated probe. It features very robust and flexible mineral insulated thermocouples suitable for high pressure and low pressure applications, capable of withstanding strong vibrations. The insulated (not grounded) tip is made of stainless steel sheath with grade 310, connected via a 1 m PTFE insulated cable. The maximum tip temperature is 760°C.
