The maximum temperature of the potting seal is limited to 180 °C. This is a type J, mineral-insulated probe. It features very robust and flexible mineral-insulated thermocouples that are suitable for high-pressure and low-pressure applications and can withstand strong vibrations. The insulated (ungrounded) tip is made of a 310-grade stainless steel sheath and is connected via a 1 m long PTFE-insulated cable. The maximum tip temperature is 760 °C.
